Blackhole can be enjoyed without any thought of tactics. However, some players may be interested in taking account of:

Deciding whether to declare short words or wait to build longer words.
Deciding when to declare words to have the maximum impact on either protecting your position on the Scoring Wheel (by moving before being attacked) or attacking other players.
Assessing the risk / benefit of entering the Inner Play Board.
When taking letters from other players, deciding whether to build your words or destroy their words.
Deciding whether to pick up vowels, consonants or specials on squares that give you the choice.
Deciding which letters to exchange with stock when landing on SWAP.
Making words to reduce letters held when close to a Blackhole.
Be aware of the letters that have gone and the probabilities of picking up the required letter to make a word.
